2002 Prairie Piping Invitational Results
May 19, 2002 - Colin Clansey of Kingston, Ontario was the overall
winner at the first annual Prairie Piping Invitational held in conjunction with
the Regina Highland Games. The piping was of excellent calibre featuring top
players from across the prairies and abroad. James MacHattie, Toronto, originally
from Saskatoon, SK, was the winner of the MSR event. Competitors played an MSR
selection followed by a Jig/Hornpipe selection.
Attendance for the event was exceptional as competitors played to a packed audience that was very appreciative of the wonderful performances.
